Even though we are a remote company, we know the value in getting together. Some folks like to socialize more than others—we are all different! So with the exception of the Company Onsite, all of our social events, both in-person and virtual, are completely optional.

Yes, we call it an “Onsite” because technically, being a remote company, we are always offsite, so this makes more sense for us. Spoke takes everyone on a week-long Onsite Retreat each year where we can work, chat all things Spoke, and hang out.
These co-working events are a chance for you and your teammates to connect, collaborate, and co-work in person. They’re self-organized, meaning you decide how, when, and where to meet—it’s entirely up to you.
The cost of travel to and from the location you choose is covered, as long as it is within your own continent! We provide an allowance of up to ÂŁ500 per event per year, which is intended to cover food , accommodation and co-work spaces for two meet-ups per year.
Once a month, we have a virtual team social. This usually includes some sort of game or team-building activity. Anyone is welcome to host one, so if you have some cool ideas, let us know! There is a budget of up to ÂŁ25 per person if you would like to treat yourself to a meal on the day.
Every month, you can have a meal with a colleague virtually. This is a great opportunity to catch up, have a chat, and if you’d like a drink or some food on us! You also have a budget of up to £15 per person to cover the cost of a meal on the day.
